Born from the adventurous spirit of a Swiss couple, Samuel Baltensperger and his wife, Samir Estate, has grown over the last 44 years into a testament of resilience, love for the land, and dedication to quality coffee. The Estate, named after their son, Samuel Junior, represents a story of passion and triumph over tragedy, as it continued to flourish under the management of Samuel Junior after a tragic accident took the life of Samuel Senior.

Samir Estate is a single-estate coffee farm estate nestled in the rich, vibrant lands of Mahoma, San Jose de Ocoa, in the Dominican Republic. A place with ideal conditions for coffee cultivation has been harnessed to grow a selection of the finest coffee varieties, including Catura, Catuai, Obata, and Catimor.
